today to have accurate and systematic information about the site available. However, the notes and texts drafted by Conti himself reveal the existence of a pre-Roman and Roman settlement near present Borgosesia historic city center, of which the necropolis itself indirectly bears witness. The remains were stored in brick cases or in sawed amphorae. In some epigraphs, in fact, the deceased still bears his or her original Celtic name, to which a \u201clatinized\u201d ending is added. Very often we find the \u201cVale\u201d (\u201cfarewell\u201d) greeting, characterizing Roman Age funerary epigraphs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6eec2e8 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget-tablet__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6eec2e8\"
