Borgosesia has always been a place of meeting, exchange and contact between different territories, connected by many roads that crossed here already in ancient times, and led far away… even beyond the mountains and into other valleys!

Shepherds also traveled seasonally along these roads with their animals and tackled the long paths of transhumance, which took them from the plains to the Monte Rosa slopes.

Walking the home paths with Agnese you will enjoy a small taste of these experiences: you will get to know Agnona, a station along the road rich in history and picturesque views. From here you will move onto the Bocchetto road to leave Valsesia and reach the Strona stream valley at the foothills of Mount Barone.

You will walk among meadows and woods, pass small streams, discover magical places such as the villages of Guardabosone and Postua, authentic jewels in the heart of a small and very green valley and you will follow the footsteps of those people who for centuries traveled paths and mule tracks from one valley to another.
